Inspired by archaic and ancient jewelry of Sardinia, dots, bells and lots of brass was used for centuries as talismans to ward off the malocchio and to protect the wearer. As I learn more about where my father grew up, and the jewelry he would buy me as a kid, I am more and more fascinated with the metalworkers and jewelry created on the island of Sardegna. Who knows, could have had many ancestors who were jeweler makers and working with metal, fire and stone just as I do... and that really makes me feel so aligned with what I am doing and where I am in my path.
